Events - Event View

We have a route planned for the April 26th drive.  Rough details are as follows.  We will meet at the usual parking lot at 5 Mile and Chinden at 9 AM and leave at 9:30 AM.  We will proceed south to Kuna with a stop for gas/bathrooms in Kuna.  The route will then go through Melba to Walters Ferry.  We will take the Snake River Canyon Scenic Byway to Marsing, Homedale, Adrian, Nyssa and end in Ontario, OR at Mackey’s Irish Pub . There will be a viewpoint and photo spot on a ridge near Map Rock (not enough room to park at Map Rock itself).  The drive is about 106 miles and should take about 2:45 hours.  People can stay for lunch at Mackey’s and drive back to Boise on their own.

 

We have reserved the Main room at Mackey’s Public House, 111 SW 1 ^st St. Ontario from noon to 2 PM.

Mackey's has asked that we provide them with all meal orders prior to our arrival. You will be asked to include meal selections for you and your guests. Please open this link https://mackeysonline.com/menu/menu and select your menu choices BEFORE completing your RSVP. Include comments on food prepraration and, if included, your choice of sides.

Leave the menu website open as you complete your RSVP. Save your selections.

Each party will pay for their bill at Mackey's.  RSVP will close on April 18th at midnight.  

We will provide a briefing for the drive at the departure location and provide a map of the route.  People can meet at Mackey’s if they don’t want to make the drive.
